KV Mechelen is busy with its core for next season. After Peyre and Togui, Rob Schoofs now also stays on board longer with Malinwa. De Limburger extended his contract with KV Mechelen until 2024.
The left-footed midfielder ended up in Mechelen in 2017, after a failed passage at AA Gent. There he helped the club with the promotion to the Jupiler Pro League.
Last season, Schoofs was also a certainty in the team of Wouter Vrancken: he scored three times and distributed three assists in 26 league matches.
The ex-player of Sint-Truiden extended his contract with Malinwa until 2024. “This again shows that the club strives for continuity,” says KV Mechelen.
