Rob Goossens does not think that by revealing that he will be in the final week of The smartest person shows, a code has broken. In the NPO Radio 1 program Of Perstribune the entertainment expert says on Sunday that it is a “matter of math” and that anyone could have worked it out.
By our news editors“I have not heard anything about it from the editors, but I think they did not like that I said that I am in the final week,” Goossens tells presenter Margreet Reijntjes.

He then states that the observant viewer could not have concluded otherwise. “They look first at the number of episodes played, then at the number of episodes won, and then at the total points accumulated. I had played seven and won five, which was so high that it was impossible to have any of them when I got out. went more than three people would score even better.”

With five places in the final, the media journalist did not feel like keeping the dumb until the final week. “I find it hard that there are things that aren’t real that people at home consider real,” he explains. “I understand that you shouldn’t spoil the fun, but apart from that I think we shouldn’t be too spastic about it.”

Although the recordings of the final week are now over, fans of the popular TV game with Philip Freriks do not have to worry that Goossens will also reveal the winner. “Certainly not. That would violate the code. If I were executed for that, I would totally understand,” he jokes.
