Rob de Nijs cancels farewell concert

The singer has been affected by corona and has been in hospital for a week. Timely recovery will no longer be possible. The singer announced a while ago that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. That has little effect on corona.

But De Nijs also has asthma and that is why he has to be extra careful since the corona infection because it affects the lungs. The artist says that he has been vaccinated several times against the corona virus. Thanks to extra oxygen, he was already able to recover considerably, but giving a full evening concert for 14,000 spectators is still too much to ask at the moment. (tove)
