The cabinet wants to intervene as effectively as possible. But the higher the number of infections, the less detailed the measures. The visibility and predictability of the spread of the virus is strengthened by the testing policy, the corona dashboard with added a roadmap with 4 risk levels whereby it is clear to everyone which measures are needed at what time, the CoronaMelder app to support the source and contact investigation and tightened legislation and enforcement. In this way we improve the insight into and the predictability of the spread of the virus. In this way we can make quick and targeted adjustments and prevent the spread of the virus where the virus flares up.

The national measures apply from Wednesday 14 October at 10:00 PM. In the weeks to 27 October, the cabinet will assess what is needed for the period thereafter. There must be sufficient evidence to reduce the number of infections and the pressure on regular care before it can be said with certainty that the measures are effective and can therefore be reconsidered.
Which corona measures apply at what time? The roadmap with four risk levels shows which measures apply per level. Directors can take additional measures in addition to this.
