Roadmap Accepted by PSSI, Shin Tae-yong’s Arrival is Still a Mystery

Jakarta

technical director PSSI, Indra Sjafri, acknowledging having received a roadmap from Shin Tae-yong. But he did not know when the South Korean coach was to Indonesia.

Shin Tae-yong’s presence in Indonesia is highly awaited so that the Indonesian U-19 national team can immediately begin the selection process. At the moment the Garuda Muda squad still has a strength of 44 players and must be immediately pursed in order to immediately start entering training material.

Last month, PSSI asked Shin Tae-yong to make a new roadmap. The old training plan was outdated and used due to the Corona virus outbreak. Indra Sjafri also said that the new roadmap had been accepted by his party.

“I have received the roadmap and studied it by all. But the problem (Shin Tae-yong’s arrival) I do not know, just wait,” Indra Sjafri told reporters on the sidelines of the acquisition of Spanish club CD Polillas Ceuta’s acquisition on Wednesday (8/7) / 2020).

Arrival junction Shin Tae-yong making the Indonesian National Team U-19 training plan uncertain. Even though there is already an U-19 2020 Asian Cup agenda awaiting.

The event will be held starting October 14 or about three months. Indra Sjafri was reluctant to speculate that he would lead the training if later Shin Tae-yong did not come.

“God willing (training in July), wait for us to establish the plan after we process it. I don’t want to comment today. I only came for this event,” he said.

Shin Tae-yong once expressed his desire to hold a training camp for the U-19 national team in Spain. The Corona virus pandemic that has not abated in Indonesia is the main cause. To date, more than 1,000 new cases of COVID-19 have been added.
