L 221 Lüneburg – Bleckede: Road renewal between the B 216 “Hafen” and the Nutzfelde roundabout
+The move to the second construction phase is delayed by a few days

The road renewal on the L 221 is currently in the first construction phase from the B 216 to the exit to the port. Due to additional work required on the base and the ramps to Otto-Brenner-Straße, the move to the second construction phase has been delayed. Work on the second construction phase is expected to begin on October 7th. In addition, the cycle path from the harbor to the B 216 will be repaired due to its very poor condition and will be completely closed for around a week.

Traffic on the L 221 is redirected from the Nutzfelde roundabout (KVP) via the K 28 to Barendorf to the B 216 in the direction of Lüneburg and vice versa. The businesses in the “Hafen” industrial area can still be reached via the junction of the B 216 with Lilienthal-Straße (“Bilmer Berg” industrial area) and further via Zeppelinstraße and Otto-Brenner-Straße.

The corresponding diversions are signposted.

The Lüneburg division of the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport asks all road users to understand the disruption and disruption associated with this necessary closure.
