Cancun, QRoo.- The municipal government of Benito Juárez, through the Municipal Transit Directorate, began the road operation in support of the commemorative pilgrimages to the Virgin of Guadalupe, which will be celebrated next Tuesday, December 12.
The head of the agency, Ezequiel Segovia Góngora, reported that this Friday, December 1, the pilgrimages began, in which 28 worship centers will participate, activating a road device to speed up the transit of people and vehicles that circulate in the surroundings of the Diocesan Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe church.
The road elements will serve the mobilizations on José López Portillo, Tulum, Uxmal, Chichén Itzá, Bonampak and Kabah avenues, which will be traveled by parishioners until they reach the church located in superblock 63, 7th street between 10th street and avenue José López Portillo.
Likewise, the contingents will be escorted by the corporation’s motorcycle patrol units, to close the streets as the pilgrimage progresses, and later they will be opened to circulation.
It should be noted that during the next few days more contingents will appear, concluding the various routes on December 12, anticipating the arrival of more unregistered groups, who will be provided with road safety during the journey.
