Jonathan Bomarito hands over his seat to Tristan Nunez for the IMSA Road America meeting this weekend in the ORECA 07 entered by PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports. The former DPi driver will support Steven Thomas at the wheel of the #11 on the last sprint round of the season.
“Tristan is one of my best friends and I really believe in his talent”said Jonathan Bomarito. “He deserves to be in a top line-up and already has a great relationship with Steven, so I felt now was a good time to step away from racing to allow Tristan back in the car as soon as as possible !”
The new recruit tested the Oreca 07 a few weeks ago at Road America. #52 will again be shared by Patrick Kelly and Josh Pierson.
