JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Former FPI leader Rizieq Shihab was angry with officers from the East Jakarta District Court who filmed him while in the alley of the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
Rizieq scolded the officers and asked for the video recording to be stopped because according to him the detention hall was not the place for the trial.
“What did you record? This is shown in the courtroom, right? That means you want to deceive me. In the hallway of the remand center you want to make it a part of the courtroom. Don’t joke, don’t soap operas. Turn it off, I’m not willing,” said Rizieq Shihab in the prison hallway. Bareskrim Polri, as seen from the East Jakarta PN’s YouTube live broadcast, Friday (19/3/2021).
Rizieq Shihab considers that the East Jakarta District Court has committed fraud against him, with the recording.
“This is not a courtroom, this is a prison hallway. Do not deceive, this is deceiving the name,” he said.
On the same occasion, Rizieq firmly refused to attend the online trial.
