Riyad Mahrez interested in moving to Al Ahly this summer. Manchester City are also starting to prepare to find a replacement for the Algerian winger.
It was reported by The Athletic, Mahrez has agreed to a salary proposal of 25 million Pounds per year submitted by the Saudi Arabian club. Man City is also ready to accept an offer worth nearly 30 million Pounds to redeem the 32-year-old player.
This move process could go fast, because the medical test schedule for Mahrez is said to have been prepared for this week. This condition makes Man City return to the transfer market to find a replacement.
If Mahrez leaves, then Man City will try to keep Bernardo Silva who is being teased by Al Hilal. They are reluctant to lose two valuable players at once, moreover it will create a hole in the right wing sector.
Man City will set a high price for anyone who is Silva’s fan, and also emphasizes to the player that he has an important role in the team next season. Moreover, he will be plotted to fill the position left by Ilkay Guedogan.
It is not yet known who is on Manchester City’s target list, because so far they have focused more on finding central midfielders, centre-backs and right-backs.
