“Riyad Mahrez Makes History as the Most Decorated African Player in the English Premier League”

Algerian star Riyad Mahrez, the Manchester City player, wrote history again in the English Premier League.

As Mahrez has become the most African player in history to be crowned the “Premier League” title with 5 titles.

The Algerian star outperformed former Ivorian star Didier Drogba, who won the title with his former club Chelsea 4 times.

Mahrez won a title with Leicester City in the 2015-2016 season and 4 titles with Manchester City in the seasons: 2018-2019, 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.

The Algerian star also became this season the most goals-making African player in history in the English Premier League.

It is noteworthy that Manchester City won the English Championship yesterday, after losing Arsenal II to Nottingham in the thirty-seventh stage.
