That’s it, Riyad Mahrez now has more stadiums to his name than Champions League to his name.
Manchester City number 26 took advantage of his free time this week to make a detour to the Paris region. The captain of the Algerian team went to Sarcelles (Val d’Oise), his hometown, where he inaugurated a football stadium in his name. For the occasion, the Citizen had prepared a speech delivered next to local elected officials, and in front of a crowd amazed by the presence of the star winger of Manchester City.

Back in England, Riyad Mahrez could win the fourth Premier League of his career – the third with City – if the Sky Blues manage to beat Aston Villa (or if they draw and Liverpool do not win, or by less than five goals), this Sunday, on behalf of the final day of the championship.
Discussions are underway with the town hall for the installation of air conditioning, in tribute to the Algerian’s season.
