RIVM reports six new deaths and nine new hospital admissions NOW

The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) reports six new deaths and nine new hospitalizations due to the coronavirus on Monday.

The number of new deaths is less than a week earlier, when eight were reported. The number of new hospital admissions is slightly higher than last Monday. Then it concerned eight recordings.

These figures confirm RIVM’s picture that the number of infections with the coronavirus in the Netherlands has been decreasing since the end of March. The number of new patients, hospital admissions, IC admissions and deaths indicate this.

In addition, RIVM announced that 103 new infections were reported. This has increased the total number of people diagnosed with an infection to 46,545.

The death toll due to the coronavirus is currently at 5,962, while 11,744 corona patients have been (have been) admitted to a Dutch hospital.

Because not all COVID-19 patients are tested, the actual numbers are greater than RIVM reports.
