224 new infections were reported in the municipality of Amsterdam. On Sunday there were 402. Rotterdam had the most new infections in the past 24 hours; there, 295 people were tested positive for the virus.
Hospitals
There are currently 2,347 people in hospital with the corona virus, 30 more than the day before (2,317). Of these, 746 are in intensive care, on Saturday there were 730. In the nursing wards, 1,601 people are currently being treated with the corona virus.
Deaths
In the past 24 hours, 8 corona patients died of the virus, Sunday there were 16. That is not to say that they all died during that period, because deaths are sometimes registered later. In the past week, 154 deaths have been reported, an average of 22 people per day.
