The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) received 3,737 reports from people with a positive corona test between Friday morning and Saturday morning.
That is more than the seven-day average of 3243. It is also slightly more than Friday when (corrected|) 3718 new cases were registered.
5 new deaths
The number of deaths increased by 5 between Friday and Saturday, one less than on Friday when there were 6 deaths. That does not mean that these people have all died in the past 24 hours. Deaths are often reported later.
In The Hague, 123 people have been told since Friday that they have been infected with the corona virus. In Amsterdam there were 120, as in Rotterdam. 63 new reports came from Apeldoorn, as well as from Staphorst.
