On average, the number of positive corona tests continues to rise: an average of 27,295 positive tests were registered per day in the past seven days. That is 84 percent more than the seven days before.
Eight deceased covid patients were reported to RIVM. In the past seven days, RIVM recorded an average of 17 deaths a day, compared to 35 deaths a day a week earlier.

Which figures does Rijnmond use?
We use the figures that the RIVM publishes on this page every day at 3:15 pm. The figures come from the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond and the GGD Zuid-Holland Zuid, but can deviate from the corona dashboard per day.
This can be for various reasons, for example the time at which the figures are entered and the fact that our region consists of two GGDs. Both GGDs have a different method for determining the daily figures. By using the same source every day, we have the best view of developments over several days and weeks.
