For example, there is Rivian which will launch the new one at the beginning of March R2, the first “accessible” SUV. In the last few hours the company has published a video that allows you to take a first look at the new model. However, you can only see its muzzle, but it is already a small taste: you can notice the similarity with the other models of the company.
Rivian provided few details about the EV. We know it will be smaller than the R1S and then some convenient. The CEO of the company, RJ Scaringe, suggested it could cost between $45,000 and $50,000. This puts it in an advantageous position compared to competitors such as the Tesla Model Y, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Kia EV6 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5. However, we must wait to know the definitive starting price.
Rivian R2: competition to Tesla
The lights of the new R2 (the only thing visible for now) do not deviate too much from Rivian’s trademark: they are a full-width light bar on the front, with stadium-shaped headlights that make it unique and easily identifiable on the street .
