The new board has 32 computing units, 8 GB GDDR6 memory and can reach up to 2359 MHz during gaming, with a boost of up to 2589 MHz. The RAM is 16 Gbps with 128 bit memory interface and 256 GB / s bandwidth, plus 32 MB Infinity Cache.

It also has hardware-accelerated ray tracing support and can output 8K video signal via HDMI 2.1 connector. It supports native AV1 decoding and consumes 160W. AMD promises that the new RX 6600XT is the best board for Full HD gaming at a high refresh rate, being on average 15% faster than the RTX 3060 at this resolution. It would also offer up to 2.5 times better performance than the GTX 1060 and 1.5 times the direct predecessor RX 5600XT.

The partners that will produce the new board are ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and Yeston.
