The ritual of the consecration of the battle flags of the naval land and air forces has just begun at the St. St. Cyril and Methodius Square in Burgas. The whole Burgas clergy is here. Among the officials are the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, the chairman of the Municipal Council-Burgas Mihail Hadjiyanev, the regional governor Plamen Yanev, the director of the ODMVR-Burgas senior commissioner Emil Pavlov, the people’s representatives from GERB Andrey Runchev and Galya Zhelyazkova, municipal councilors and public figures.
In a few minutes, a traditional liturgy procession to the Bridge for the ritual of saving the Epiphany Cross will begin.
