New York – Congressman Ritchie Torres is projected as the winner to be re-elected to represent NYC’s 15th borough, according to our sister network NBC News.
Torres was first elected in 2020 when he occupied the seat vacated by congressional veteran José Serrano. That year Torres became the first Afro-Latin and openly LGBTQ + representative in Congress after winning one of the most democratic seats in the country.
