According to obstetrics and gynecology specialist Dr. Dinda Derdameisya, SpOG, women should avoid using these kinds of pads too frequently. Moreover, if you have absolutely no problems holding back urination.
People with incontinence, called Dr. Dinda, do have problems like that, especially when coughing and sneezing.
“And actually the amount of urine that comes out is also small,” he said, when contacted by detikcom Monday (12/6/2023).
However, still, the sanitary pads used have high absorption, thus allowing an increased risk of vaginal discharge to infection in the genital area. This includes urinary tract infections.
“So if, for example, the goal is that when you cough and sneeze, a little comes out for mothers, especially those who already have many children, that’s okay, just don’t use it often,” he explained.

It’s the same as the risk of babies experiencing yeast infections and allergies when using pampers, the same thing can also stalk women if they deliberately wear urine pads for a long time.
