Risk of shortage at Tripoli government hospital

The director of the government hospital in Tripoli, Nasser Adra, denounced in a statement, the risk of oxygen shortage in his establishment, with delivery delays of up to 5 days.

He indicated that he had contacted the Ministry of Health on this subject, as well as the Bank of Lebanon in order to guarantee the payment of this precious gas, necessary in these current circumstances of the COVID19 coronavirus epidemic and noting also that the price of this element vital has recently doubled.

In total, 455,381 have been infected since February 21, 2020, the date of the discovery of a first case in Lebanon.
The total number of people affected by the virus reaches 450,825 local cases and 4,556 cases from abroad.

2,319 people are currently hospitalized and 978 people are in critical condition and 287 people are on ventilators.

92,975 are currently active and 353,342 are cured

The total number of people who have died is 6,013 since the onset of the disease in Lebanon on February 21, 2020.
