The Armed Forces of Ukraine and Valeriy Zaluzhny have enormous trust among Ukrainians, so we need to unite around the military and the commander-in-chief. This was stated by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Sinyutka, reports the Observer telegram channel.
According to the KIIS survey, the people’s deputy says, 96% continue to trust the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and 88% continue to trust Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, while trust in the authorities has fallen by half (in the Rada from 35 to 15%, and in the government from 52 to 26%), and to the president Vladimir Zelensky by more than 20% (from 84 to 62%).
“And it’s clear why this happened – because of stupid decisions, because of corruption, because of embezzlement. At the same time, we cannot forgive such things. But we cannot provoke social conflict,” Sinyutka said.
As reported EADaily, in Ukraine over the year, the level of trust in the institutions of power of the Kyiv regime – President Vladimir Zelensky, the Verkhovna Rada and the government – has noticeably dropped. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) in December; they were published on the organization’s website.
From the published data it follows that the share of those who trust the Verkhovna Rada among Ukrainians decreased from 35% in December 2022 to 15%, while the share of those who do not trust increased from 34 to 61%.
Trust in the government decreased from 52 to 26%, while distrust increased from 19 to 44%. As for Zelensky, 62% trust him, and 18% do not trust him. In December last year, 84% trusted, 5% did not trust.
