The recordings cause horror.
In Germany, people, apparently from the migrant milieu, are openly celebrating the barbaric terrorist acts in Israel, even saying on TV cameras that they approve of the Hamas attacks. Apparently the Hamas terrorists have sympathizers and supporters in our country. Hatred against Jews on our streets!
The state security agency speaks of 150 Hamas “supporters” in North Rhine-Westphalia alone, plus a good 200 sympathizers, and assumes a four-digit mobilization potential. But THAT is just the recorded cases. Hatred of Jews is widespread.
Anthropologist Susanne Schröter (66, director of the Global Islam Research Center at Goethe University Frankfurt) told BILD: “We have a huge problem. We have allowed hundreds of thousands of people with an anti-Semitic worldview into Germany who grew up with this inhumane ideology in their countries of origin. They brought these with them when they entered our country. We are seeing the consequences on our streets these days.”
Means: a huge potential threat to the safety of Jews in Germany!
Another big problem that Schröter sees: “Imported anti-Semitism has long been trivialized and relativized in Germany. Left-wing circles have promoted it – right into our universities – through their portrayal of Israel as an alleged ‘apartheid state’ and their talk of ‘settler colonialism’. This closing of ranks repeats a disastrous alliance between forces in Germany and the Middle East. During the Nazi era, Palestinian Islamists collaborated with the Nazis.”

“High risk relevance”
In a situation assessment available to BILD, the Federal Criminal Police Office writes: “In the course of an expected Israeli counteroffensive, the phenomenon of religious ideology is particularly likely to pose a high threat relevance.”
▶︎ “In particular, demonstrative activities in conjunction with verbal expressions of displeasure in front of Israeli institutions and prayer houses, especially in Berlin, are to be expected.”
▶︎ “In addition, damage to property must be taken into account not only indirectly, but also directly in the vicinity of Israeli facilities, as well as physical confrontations in the event of a chance encounter between the two ‘camps’.”
A senior state security officer told BILD: “After the terrible terrorist attack by Hamas, Israel will take massive action against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which will lead to many deaths there too. The terrorist organization will of course use these images for its own benefit; it is even to be feared that it will specifically exploit victims and perhaps even use children and women as living shields. These terrible images will lead to a very high level of emotion and therefore solidarity in the Muslim world.”
There is currently no evidence of specific planned attacks in Germany.
One thing is clear: According to state security officials, the security situation in Germany can change from hour to hour. There is “extreme unrest and tension in the Muslim milieu.”

The terrorist organization Hamas is already trying to mobilize and incite its followers worldwide. There are calls for “action” this Friday. The security authorities cannot yet say what exactly this means for Germany.
Numerous solidarity rallies by Palestinian sympathizers have been registered nationwide for the weekend. In North Rhine-Westphalia alone, demonstrations with a total of several hundred participants are planned in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Aachen on Saturday.
“Conflagration on Germany’s streets”
Regarding the situation in Germany, he says: “The problem in Germany is not the few known Hamas supporters, they are actually just fundraisers. The problem is, and we can already see this through countless posts on social media, that many Muslims who have recently immigrated not only understand the devastating terrorist attack, but even support it and are downright happy about it.”
His warning: “If Israel now invades the Gaza Strip, it could lead to a conflagration on Europe’s and thus also Germany’s streets.”
“Even terrorist attacks cannot be ruled out”
The state protector goes on to say: “Spontaneous attacks on synagogues or Jewish institutions could occur during or after demonstrations. Small conspiratorial groups could also specifically attack such facilities. Regions such as Berlin, Hamburg, the Rhine-Ruhr area and the Frankfurt area are particularly affected. Depending on further developments, even terrorist attacks cannot be ruled out.”
“We are, so to speak, remotely controlled by developments in the Middle East.”
In addition, Iran wants this escalation and the Iranian secret service in Germany only ordered attacks on synagogues in North Rhine-Westphalia months ago.
One problem: “Radical Muslims, who we have not yet had on our radar at all, could also become violent. Dynamics could suddenly develop from a group that we cannot foresee,” warns the public protector.
Attacks on Israeli targets in Germany possible
The Federal Criminal Police Office also warns: “Especially in a conflict that lasts over a longer period of time, there are likely to be a large number of calls on jihadist propaganda channels for people or (small) groups acting alone/independently to carry out attacks on Israeli targets in Germany or Europe .”
And further: “It must be taken into account that already radicalized individuals or (small) groups are now increasingly focusing on Israeli security interests in Germany or Europe.”
“We will take strong action immediately”
And North Rhine-Westphalia’s Interior Minister Herbert Reul (71, CDU) also warns in BILD: “We have to remain vigilant. Jew-haters here in Germany also believe that they will now get a boost. You are sorely mistaken.”
Reul announces: “Our democracy supports freedom of assembly – but we will consistently prevent hate speech and anti-Semitism and take tough action immediately. We pay particular attention to our Jewish institutions. The protection of our Jewish fellow citizens is a theoretical and practical reason of state.”
