Dissatisfaction of the Russian military with their commanders is growing. Thus, in the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, cases of violent actions by commanders against personnel are increasingly being registered.
In particular, in the Kursk region, there have already been many verdicts issued in cases of mass killings of servicemen. It is about how unit commanders shot their subordinates, reports FREEDOM TV.

A senior officer was sentenced to 14 years in prison who, in a drunken state, fired an indiscriminate arrow at his subordinates. Such incidents have always occurred in the Russian army, experts say. It is no coincidence that there is also a term for this kind of violent actions – “hazing”. It is characterized by physical and mental harassment from a higher-ranking military officer to a lower-ranking one. Often it is also about sexual violence.
These incidents were widespread in Soviet times, but they have not disappeared even in 2024. The terrible stories of what happens in the Russian army are forgotten, as if they are not there. But this does not mean that they stopped… Now another factor appeared, namely the war. Because now a lot of things that happen in the army can be attributed to the war.
Ivan Chuvilyaev, press secretary of the “Idite lesom” foundation, says that the army does not protect anyone, it becomes a crime scene. “The Russian army today is no different from a prison, the same methods are used there. Violence, cruelty, rape, drunkenness, fights, murders – this is the Russian army,” noted Chuvilyaev.
Relatives of those mobilized were threatened by the Russian authorities that they could be harmed or killed if they spoke about how their loved ones had been the target of violence by their military commanders. The Russian army is doing everything possible to hush up the cases and keep them from reaching the media, no matter how much they are under the control of the Kremlin.
In practice, at the moment, anarchy reigns in the Russian army, there are no rules and moral norms, because the war criminal Vladimir Putin has mobilized all the economic resources of the federation to achieve his goal – the destruction of the Ukrainian state. As is known, a large part of the mobilized Russian soldiers are prisoners, some of them even with life sentences for murder.
