Rising Death Toll: NYC Cyclists Face Growing Danger on the Streets

At least 21 cyclists have died throughout 2023 in New York City after being hit by motorists, the last of them last morning on a Bronx street, an accident in which the attacker fled.

According to the police, the dead man is a 29-year-old man who was in the street at 5:30 in the morning when he was hit at the intersection of two streets by a dark SUV that fled the scene and is now actively wanted by the “collision investigation unit” of the police.
