Sony Interactive Entertainment, Koei Tecmo, and Team Ninja have launched a Japanese-language FAQ page for Rise of the Ronin, a PlayStation 5-exclusive open-world project. The Japanese companies have once again clarified that the game will not be coming to PlayStation 4.
This is not new information, given that it has only been confirmed for PlayStation 5 since the announcement. However, in this FAQ, among the three available questions, one was about confirming that the game will not be coming to PlayStation 4. The Q&A reads: “Will there be a PS4 version? No. No plans for a PS4 version».
By the way, the first question is identical, but about the PS5, namely: “Is Rise of the Ronin being made for PS5? Yes. Rise of the Ronin is a PlayStation 5 game“. Instead, the third question confirms that the game is open world.
To date, various PlayStation exclusive video games have been released for both PS4 and PS5, but PS5 console exclusives are gradually appearing, and Rise of the Ronin will be one of them.
