Team Ninja took advantage of it Progress this Tuesday (13), to announce Rise of the Ronin, its new exclusive action RPG from PS5this is scheduled for 2024. The project has been in development for seven years and is supported by PlayStation.
In the trailer, players are introduced to a setting that mixes feudal Japan, with the inclusion of typical Western buildings. The protagonist is a ronin, an expert in katanas, but also in firearms. Wade:

Japan faces a crisis, having to contend with “oppressive rulers and deadly disease as Western influence spreads and civil war continues between the Tokugawa shogunate and the anti-war factions.”

Team Ninja claims to have gathered “all the skills and knowledge gained over the years to go further and accurately represent the most critical revolution” in the Japanese timeline. This is called the “most ambitious and challenging project” in the history of the company.
