COLUMN Suddenly it was there this summer on the Utrecht cycle paths and in my street: the fat bike. For example, there has been an abandoned copy in the back of our street next to the underground garbage container for months. The chain is now rusted. I sent the Leidsche Rijn police a photo to see if someone might have lost one, but that didn’t help. You would think that someone would miss such a bicycle engine.
