Despite the claims of the Russian military that all drones are shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare, the truth is quite different, dialog.ua writes.
Drone attacks in Moscow increased dramatically in the second half of the summer – at least 13 drones have fallen in the capital and its region so far in August. For comparison, in July – 11, and in June – 3. In total, since the beginning of the war, drones have attacked the region at least 40 times.
Despite the statements of the Russian military that all drones are shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare, eyewitness photos and videos show the opposite – the Russian army does not intercept all drones.
“Agency” channel of “Telegram” analyzed data on attacks in order to understand which objects pose an increased threat to the population. Three main possible drone targets were identified: administrative buildings, the premises of the Ministry of Defense and places where the Russian elite live. In addition, drones can also collide with newly built skyscrapers, possibly because these buildings are not on the maps held by the Ukrainian military.
