Covid-19 Morocco: The rise in cases due to the expansion of early detection

The epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in Morocco is under control and stable and the recent increase in the number of positive cases is due to the widening of the early and active collective screening carried out to contain the pandemic and to curb its spread, assured on Saturday Ministry of Health.
L’expanding screening is part of the support and preparation for the reduction of sanitary containment measures, explains the ministry.
The epidemiological situation in the Kingdom remains under control and stable, given the reduced number of critical cases and the very low fatality rate.
According to the ministry, 98% of patients are asymptomatic, but remain transmitters of the virus, which requires their care to protect fragile people and strict compliance with the preventive measures recommended by the health authorities.
These measures include, in particular, the correct wearing of the mask, hygiene, respect for physical distance, avoidance of gatherings and downloading of the “Wiqaytna” application, while activating Bluetooth continuously .
