RIP Apple! These are 4 products that will expire in early 2023

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Years change, so do Apple products. Apple is discontinuing some of its flagship products this year to make room gizmo new.

One of the things Apple will stop in 2023 is the iPhone 11 and phones that don’t support 5G networks. Not just the iPhone 11, there are several devices that will be shut down by Apple. Everything?

Apple Watch Series 3

Introduced in 2017, the Apple Watch Series 3 is Apple’s first wearable smartwatch with an LTE connection. While this Apple Watch is much faster than its predecessor, it has stood the test of time thanks to its long-lasting battery.

Apple discontinued the Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5 and Series 6 before discontinuing the Apple Watch Series 3 along with the Series 7.

This smartwatch supports watchOS 8 and is one of the more affordable options for users looking for a wearable Apple device. BGR extensionMonday (01/02/2023)

iPhone 11 dan was non-5G

Announced in 2019, the iPhone 11 is the cheapest option on the company’s website for an iPhone with a nearly blank screen bevel. Aside from the iPhone SE model, this is the latest model with an LCD screen and no 5G support.

Currently, all iPhones sold by the company offer 5G support, OLED screens (except SE), and regular versions of both Mini and Plus models.

Apple TV HD

Launched in 2015, Apple TV HD uses chip A8 with 64-bit architecture. During its life, this set-top box has undergone several remote modifications.

But after the company introduced its new Apple TV 4K in late 2022 in two different sizes, it fully embraced the 4K era.

That said, the HD set-top box still supports tvOS 16. So even if Apple no longer sells it, its users can still take advantage of all the apps and services available for the company’s set-top box operating system.

iPod touch

In 2022, Apple has finally officially killed the iPod touch. No wonder this device has been discontinued, because Apple hasn’t launched for several years, nor does it sell iPods anymore in the official store.
