Riots in Brussels after ‘Red Devils’ elimination | Abroad

BRUSSELS – There were riots in the center of Brussels on Friday evening after the elimination of the Belgian football team at the European Championship, Belgian media report. Young people pelted police officers with all sorts of things. Rioters threw bottles, bombs and even electric scooters there. Several shop windows also suffered and a Nike store was looted. The police had to use tear gas and a water cannon to disperse the amok makers.
