Riots Erupt in Muntilan Magelang, Central Java between PDIP and PPP GPK

Magelang – Riots occurred in Muntilan Magelang, Central Java. It is suspected that there was a clash between PDIP masses and the PPP Kaaba Youth Movement (GPK), Sunday afternoon, October 15 2023.

Video of the riot incident circulated on social media Instagram. “Riots in Muntilan this afternoon,” wrote the Instagram account @magelang_info, Sunday (15/10/2023).

The video upload shows residents crowding the street watching the rioting incident. From afar, the flames could be seen rising high.

In a different video, you can see angry residents kicking and stepping on motorbikes on the side of the road. A number of motorbikes were scattered on the road. Police and TNI officers were seen trying to dissuade residents from leaving the riot site.
