During the police investigation, the man is known to have stated that he committed the crime because he heard hallucinations in his ears and felt that his neighbors were eavesdropping on his house.

In the middle of the night in a residential area, Siheung City sent a disaster safety text message asking citizens to refrain from going out.

It is the first time a disaster safety text message has been sent for a violent crime, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security said.
