Residents attacked each other in Waiwerang
WAIWERANG, mediantt.com – The city of Waiwerang is in chaos! Residents of Saosina and Wotan Villages, Waiwerang Village, East Adonara, attacked each other, Thursday, October 7, 2021. One of the police officers on duty at the East Adonara Police was hit by an arrow.
“We don’t know the victims from the residents yet, but one police officer was hit by an arrow,” said Deputy Head of the Flotim Police, Kompol Jance Seran to reporters, Thursday, October 7, 2021.
According to him, this police officer was hit by an arrow in the leg and is currently being treated at the Waiwerang Health Center.
“The situation is still tense. The victim’s police officer is undergoing treatment. We hope there are no casualties,” he said.
Regarding the cause of the duel war, he said, it is not yet known for certain because it is still in the process of being investigated.
He said that currently the Flotim Police have sent 30 personnel to the scene. Apart from members of the Resort Police, members of the West Adonara and East Adonara Police were also dispatched to the location to secure the situation.
