Riot in GERB: How long will oppositionists Radan Kanev and DSB be in power? –

After receiving an explanation from the Bulgarian journalists waiting for him in front of the EC building, the Prime Minister replied: First, we do not have an agreement with the DSB, we have an agreement with the Reform Bloc and it is currently being implemented. As for the cabinet and ministers, as well as the management of the cabinet, I do it. So I guess the people from GERB are beginning to be dissatisfied with the daily appearances of some of the members of the RB, who do not leave the RB, but pretend to be oppositionists with the cadres they have in power. I have never divided the people according to who is from which party in the government – they are good ministers and fulfill their commitments. I have no occasion for that reason to pursue them – so if they want to stay and work, work. But it is not moral to give intelligence as an oppositionist and at the same time have so many cadres and that too in key places. Maybe that’s why colleagues from GERB decided to react, commented Borisov.

When I meet with them (PG of GERB – note ed.) I will see what they expect. But unfortunately, this dual position of the Reform Bloc is hindering the cabinet, the prime minister said.

The Prime Minister did not know what appointments were discussed by the PG of GERB, as he was in meetings during that time. Radan Kanev accused me of two things and insulted me a lot. I understood that Mr. Kanev never wanted to change the chief prosecutor, I misunderstood him and I apologize for that, because I also do not want to change the chief prosecutor, Borisov continued. Of course, I apologize for saying hundreds of appointments – that’s hyperbole, no one has counted them, but they are enough, he further explained.

Borisov categorically stated that the reform of Peter Moskov will come to an end.

Regarding the Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev, the Prime Minister recalled the public procurements in the army, which Nenchev stopped and asked: Why is it that when the Minister of GERB stops procurements there are comments, but when Nenchev does it there were none. It is measured by a double cubit, he added.

For me, all ministers are the same – Minister Nenchev works very well, he comments on everything with me. Both Nenchev and Moskov are ministers who were proposed to me by the Reform Bloc, no one shared them. If someone does something wrong, there are services and they will do their job, said Boyko Borisov.

Petar Moskov is not from GERB, I want him, but he is from DSB. Fate brought us together to work together and it’s going well, added Borisov.
