Riot Games To Release League Of Legends Spinoff The Mageseeker This Spring – Gaming – News

Riot Games introduces The Mageseeker, a 2D action RPG set in the League of Legends universe. This game will be released this spring for consoles and PC. Two other spinoffs, Convergence and Song of Nunu, were previously announced and will also be released this year.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story appears first of the three games, Riot Games announced on Wednesday. This 2D action RPG game follows the story of the magician Sylas and is set in Demacia, a kingdom where the use of magic is persecuted by so-called mageseekers.

In the game, players build a magical army to lead a revolution. The game is being developed by Digital Sun, the studio behind the action RPG Moonlighter, and will be released this spring for PC and consoles. A specific release date has not yet been announced.

At the same time, Riot Games is announcing the imminent release of two other League of Legends spinoffs. Convergence is an action platformer which follows character Ekko and revolves around manipulating time. This title will appear in the summer. Narrative adventure Song of Nunu will follow this fall, also for consoles and PC. These two games were already announced by Riot Games in 2021.
