The Administration of Cultural Heritage (Head Eung-Cheon Choi), together with “Riot Games Korea (Korea Representative Hyuk-Jin Cho)”, a global online game development and services company, an agreement company for the protection of cultural heritage, held a 2022 sponsorship ceremony was held at the Auditorium (Gangnam-gu, Seoul).
Riot Games has continued social outreach activities in the field of cultural heritage for more than 10 years since signing the Cultural Heritage Protection Agreement in 2012 to revitalize the conservation management and utilization of cultural heritage.An additional 800 million won will be provided for sponsorship and cooperative projects such as support for experiential education and support for urgently purchased relic exhibitions in Korea. Combined with this sponsorship, the total sponsorship amount for cultural heritage guardians sponsored by Riot Games is approximately KRW 7.7 billion (current accumulated: 7.67 billion, 2012 to 2022), which is the most large among societies of cultural heritage protection agreements.
