Riot Forge Announces Three New Games

Riot Forge, the publisher of Riot Games focused on producing games with other studios, announced three new titles inserted in the League of Legends universe and two of them are available now.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a single player RPG developed by Airship Syndicate, the same team as Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders: Genesis. Ruined King takes place in the Bilgewater and Shadow Isles regions of Runeterra, allowing players to team up with characters known to League of Legends fans such as Ahr, Miss Fortune or Braum. The mission goes through investigating a phenomenon known as the Black Mist and defeating a common enemy, presumably the Ruined King.

Ruined King is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC while PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be released soon. Older generation console players will be able to upgrade the game without any additional payment.

Next up is Hextech: Mayhem, a rhythm game featuring Ziggs, the League of Legends service demolition expert.

Hextech: Mayhem was developed by Choice Provisions, the studio behind the BIT.TRIP franchise. In a 2.5D world players will run and jump to the beat of the music, with lots of bombs in the mix. The game is now available for Nintendo Switch and PC.

Riot Forge’s third game, set for release in 2022, is Song of Nunu, developed by Tequila Works, the studio behind Rime, The Sexy Brutale and virtual reality games like The Invisible Hours and Groundhog Day: Like Father Like Son . Song of Nunu is a third-person adventure game where the main character is Nunu, a young man who befriends a yeti named Willump. Together they will solve puzzles, fight wolves and other threats in the icy region of the Freljord. Riot Forge has plans to release Song of Nunu for Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Riot Forge also showed some footage of “CONV/RGENCE,” a 2D action single-player with time travel mechanics. Here, players take control of Ekko, a character beloved not only by League of Legends fans, but also Arcane fans. CONV/RGENCE arrives in 2022 and is being developed by Double Stallion, the studio behind action games like Speed ​​Brawl, OK KO Turbo, and Loud House: Outta Control.

Finally, Riot Forge also announced an as-yet-unnamed game, which takes place in the region of Demacia.
