Faces in Time

Recently published by Vela al Viento, it is the first collection of poems that Blanca Dora Godoy publishes after years of working in various literary workshops.

In it, he invites us to collect, order and reread the pages of the collection of poems about a life that the wind has scattered when it suddenly enters through the living room window. Sort and find new meanings, think about time from affection and not from the clock hanging on the wall.

This book takes us to review the path traveled, the blood, the choices, the ancestors, the bonds, the pain and the feelings, but above all else it invites us to feel the love, the self-love that little by little it is building This mature poet is gradually invading her word.

“Faces in time” is the transformation of a woman who dared to release her voice to build herself into a verb, a verb that screams loud and clear.

Black and Light

The book of about one hundred pages contains three collections of poems, “Cactus”, “Pruner de Flores” and “Negros y Luminosos”, and signifies a return to the genre after publishing several books of narrative.

It has a prologue by Liliana Campazzo, with an extensive career as a poet, teacher and coordinator of literary workshops, who pointed out about this book that “these poems are not simple matters, they are existential problems that in a certain way make us into who we are, but put into action from an everyday language, they fall on the table in the hands of the mother, or the woman, they fall as the days themselves fall ”.
