Rio Ferdinand evaluate Harry Kane will be a threat to Manchester United when facing Bayern Munich. He hopes that the Red Devils players can suppress Kane.
Manchester United vs Bayern Munich will be presented at the Allianz Arena on the first matchday of the Champions League, Wednesday (20/9) WIB. Harry Kane will face the Red Devils again.
Kane has previously met with MU many times while defending Tottenham Hotspur. He is recorded as having faced MU 19 times, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
Kane has also been linked with MU on several occasions. However, he prefers to join Bayern Munich this summer with a transfer value of 100 million euros.
He immediately appeared promising with Die Roten. Kane has scored four goals and one assist in the first four Bundesliga matches this season.
This 30 year old striker certainly wants to continue this when facing Manchester United.
MU legend, Rio Ferdinand, believes that Kane will be the main threat for the Red Devils. He hopes that Erik ten Hag’s troops can suppress this English striker.
Ferdinand previously certainly hoped that Kane could join MU when he left Tottenham. However, he feels that Kane’s decision to join Bayern was the right thing.
“Yes, but that’s not the case. You just have to respect that he went where he went. He’s on a new path, there’s a new story written by Harry Kane,” Kane said in a podcast with TNT.
“He’s an extraordinary player, highly regarded and rightly so. He knows where his goal is to play, he knows how to score goals. Man Utd must stop him,” he explained.
