Rio Ferdinand: Arsenal have the best defense in the Premier League because they have Declan Rice

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand praised Arsenal’s defensive performance in the current Premier League season.

“At the moment, Arsenal have conceded the fewest goals in the Premier League. Declan Rice fills his role perfectly in front of the centre-backs. This triangle will be key for them in the future. This will help them succeed.

To win anything you have to have a pair of central defenders you can trust. They are the reason why I put them ahead of Liverpool for the title and they are the ones who can challenge City this year,” Football London quotes Ferdinand as saying.
