On 11 January at 8 pm, the Postfinance Women’s League streaming offer will start on redplus.sport with the Ticino derby between HCAP Girls and Lugano Ladies. The match will also be broadcast live and free of charge on the Red+ Youtube channel.
The MyHockey League kicks off on Red+ with the match between EHC Frauenfeld and EHC Seewen on January 13 at 20:15. The flagship game of the MyHockey League, EHC Chur vs. EHC Arosa will also be broadcast live on Blick.ch on Saturday 14 January from 6.30 pm. One game a week, the “Match of the Week”, is broadcast live in all leagues and free of charge on Blick.ch and Redplus.sport.
All MyHockey League stadiums are equipped with Red cameras and are available on Redplus.sport. The Postfinance Women’s League matches will be available gradually. Full coverage has been delayed due to local infrastructure measures, which are being worked on at full speed.
The Red+ sports streaming service, offered by Ringier Sports AG, broadcasts all matches of these two ice hockey leagues live and shows highlights from individual matches. A five-year cooperation agreement was signed between Ringier Sports and the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation last autumn.
Automated cameras with artificial intelligence are used in the production of the games. The matches of the Postfinance Women’s League, the National Cup and selected matches of the youth national teams will be available in the freely accessible area of the Redplus.sport OTT platform. A Red+ Gamepass subscription for MyHockey League is required to be able to stream all games live, both home and away.
For the 2023/24 season, the offer will be extended to the other leagues of youth, amateur and women’s sport. All games from 270 clubs and over 1000 teams will be available on Redplus.sport as live, re-live or recap/highlight. (pd/mj)
