Ringier Advertising: A breath of fresh air for “Weinfach”

Ringier Advertising’s Brand Studio will take over the production of the podcast “Weinfach” for Mövenpick Wein from September 2024, bringing a breath of fresh air to the audio format. Moderated by Reto Scherrer and Karin Frautschi, the podcast promises exciting insights into the world of wine, according to a statement.

Reto Scherrer, known as a senior anchor on Blick TV, also has considerable talent away from the camera: As a winemaker, he has been running the ninth-generation family vineyard in Weinfelden since 2020. “Consequently,” as the statement says, Scherrer will moderate the wine podcast together with Blick VJ Karin Frautschi.

The two are supported in each of the monthly episodes by an expert from Mövenpick Wein or its partners. The Ringier Advertising Brand Studio collaborates with the Podcastschmiede agency to produce the podcast.

Susanne Aebi, Senior Communications Manager at Mövenpick Wein: “After four years of “Weinfach” it was time to give our podcast new impetus. With Reto Scherrer and Karin Frautschi, we have found two podcast hosts who share Mövenpick’s passion for enjoying wine.”
