The Ringier media group has taken over the entire Romanian property ads portal Imobiliare.ro, taking over the shares of founders Adrian Erimescu, Ciprian Gheran and Radu Andrei.
Dan Puica was appointed in the wake of the post of general manager of the website, according to a statement from the Zurich group released on Monday. On September 7, he will take over the helm of the current boss Adrian Erimescu.
The future manager of Imobiliare.ro notably managed the job platform bestjobs.eu and the company OLX Romania Real Estate.
The real estate portal for which Ringier has taken over has 1.7 million visitors per month and more than 120,000 ads.
In March 2016, Ringier bought an 87% stake in Realmedia Network, operator of Imobiliare.ro, from former owners Broadhurst Investments Limited, Kurt Götz and the management of the real estate portal.
