Ringbrothers Restores Impressive 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible with Custom Upgrades and Stunning Design

Ringbrothers has restored a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. Look at the result of their work – it is impressive!

The company spent over 4,000 hours restoring and redesigning this incredible Mustang convertible. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated Ford Performance Coyote V8 engine producing 460 hp. and torque of 569 Nm at 4600 rpm. Guaranteeing the durability of this engine is the custom cover. It was then paired with a Ford 10-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

Many other changes have been made under the body. For starters, the Mustang gets a new chassis from the Roadster Shop that includes a revised front suspension and independent rear suspension. It also features Penske Racing performance coilovers, a Woodward steering rack, and Baer brakes with 14-inch discs and six-piston calipers front and rear. Custom 18-inch wheels with Continental tires ensure efficient transfer of power to the road. Ringbrothers says the center caps are the only original parts remaining.

The car is finished in Brave Burgundy and all the chrome and stainless steel trim has been polished. A special radiator grille was made for the car, as well as distinctive badges and emblems. The interior received leather trim in a noble brown color.

A major overhaul of the Mustang’s interior was entrusted to Seam Smith Designs in collaboration with Drapping Unlimited. They installed new gauges from Dakota Digital and also built a custom steering wheel. The attention to detail is amazing: Mustang emblems are intricately stitched onto the seats, and the updated trunk has a carbon fiber floor.
