“After the house, the table, the thoughts, the papers and the projects accumulated during the pandemic, we have therefore returned to the journey again, to putting one step after another because without the meeting life seems suspended, postponed, and everything this changed us, the organizers explain on their website. What has been imagined, the trajectories and sequences on the maps, from small-scale worlds now return to the dimension of everyday tools, a portrait of the visible, putting us in relation with what is other than us”.
“For these reasons we thought that the right theme to restart the Biennale Disegno was a return to travel. What the artists have produced in this epochal time, but also what, in past centuries, they have expressed before, during and after their travelling, their training, their need to know, becomes the main object of the fourth international exhibition of the drawing”.
