Rimac Nevera has done something that makes other speed record lovers green with envy.
A flurry of records was registered by the Croatian hypercar during the tests on the German Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) track with four kilometers long straights. The manufacturer has already reported that the 1914 hp electric car is very fast, but the tests on the ATP track surpassed everything previously predicted.
Let’s mention only a few of the 23 records (the rest are in the picture): run from 0 to 100 km/h – 1.8 seconds; acceleration from 100 km/h to 200 km/h – 2.59 seconds; acceleration from 200 km/h to 300 km/h – 4.79 seconds.
It takes 9.22 seconds for the Nevera to reach 300 km/h from a standstill, while the 1600 HP powerful internal combustion engine Bugatti Chiron Super Sport can do it in just 12.1 seconds. Meanwhile, Nevera is already close to its maximum speed (352 km/h), which it reaches in about 13 seconds.
Such achievements will certainly flatter those buyers who did not spare 2 million euros to get this technological miracle. It is known that out of 150 planned copies of Nevera, 15-20 have already been delivered to customers, with the first car being delivered to F-1 champion and former driver of the top league of motorsport, Nico Rosberg.
