Riley Keough has paid tribute to her late mother and brother after being nominated for the Emmy Awards.
The 34-year-old actress had singer Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January aged 54 after cardiac arrest, and her brother Benjamin Keough, who took his own life in 2020 aged 27, at spirit on Wednesday (12.07.23).
After finding out she was shortlisted for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie thanks to her portrayal of the title character in ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’.
Riley – who will be up for the award alongside Lizzy Caplan (Fleishman is in Trouble), Jessica Chastain (George and Tammy), Dominique Fishback (Swarm), Kathryn Hahn (‘Tiny Beautiful Things’) and Ali Wong (‘Beef ‘).
Thinking of you two, she shared a photo of young Benjamin with their mother on her Instagram Story and wrote:
I feel very blessed [emoji de prière], THANKS. She then took over the announcement of her Emmy nomination and accompanied it with the caption.
